Update: Moved the battery to the boot. Manual kit is here!!, Waiting for flywheel to get machined. Removed all a/c and refitted the factory fan with the e36 coolant temp sender. Never gets hot. Cleaned up the interior and just waiting on some bc coilovers. Will post progress pics :)

Hey, I got a MTech1 4 door 320i too!!! Mine is a 85 with chrome bumpers Same color interior as yours except checkerboard pattern instead of houndstooth. Is yours a slicktop too? I hope you enjoy yours as much as I do mine.

yeah hardtop all the way mate. If i want to look at the moon ill hop out. Yeah i enjoy it apart from the specks of rust i've found. But 21 years does that in Australia. Once i've gotten rid of that m20 tick and get to hear a 1uz ill be even happier

yeah theres a few paint blemish's on the kit which i am going to fix up will a full roller paint

After looking at your closeup pictures the Mtech 1 bumpers were put on afterwards.

The way the endcaps look is the giveaway. The front endcaps look just like mine and the rear ones are the wrong ones.

no more battery in the engine bay. That black stuff is rust convertor/primer as the old battery had leaked and burnt the paint off allowing for a bit of surface rust

Loving the manual. Future plans are toe/camber kit for rear, urethane bushings throughout, new tyres, uuc big brake kit on front and recond rear brakes then 1uzfe ;)
