Very nice e30 Bill. Might just be the hottest 318i Ive ever seen. Seats are sick. Welcome to the early tail's and plastic bumper club. I think Jake's on the right path.... drop an M42 in there.

Any rust under the car anywhere? That's the best of both worlds, super-light curb weight with the newer look. Awesome. My jaw literally dropped when I opened the thread.

Like everyone says, HOT!! about the power issue, i heard you could put an s14 head on an m10b18.. doubt it'd be cost effective, but still a cool idea.

Hey Bill, one of these days I'll post pics of my car, the 85 318 monster with plastics, but that's not why I'm posting this, would you mind sharing your secret on that rear apron mod? Thanks man, your 318 rocks.

                          Nope, no rust.

As for the rear apron...to do it right, I wouldn't wish upon my worst enemy.

Andrew - I actually just joined the CCA this morning (after meaning to do it forever)...I doubt I'm gonna get my membership card/number in time. Hopefully just my word, and maybe a printout will be good enough for me to participate. I'll be there if I can run.

                          Thanks guys!

You should join the SCCA too...they run @ Giants Stadium in East Rutherford off either 46 or 13 I think. Make sure to sign up @ an event, you get to run for free

All those Philly region autocrosses we went to were SCCA. Most this year are way the fuck down in Baltimore though, which kinda sucks.
