      I had a volvo lip on my 318 because i was a broke man LOL. Now that i have a proper 325is i bought the is lip because its only proper :up:

        Well this e30 is my project winter beater. So it will keep the volvo lip until I am willing to spend the money on a real iS lip.

        Out painting it now. Primer is drying, Next is white paint then gloss coat.

          It's funny, Janderson (not to call you out; big fan of your car), I remember you being one of the biggest fans of the volvo lip early on. If I remember right, you called it [paraphrased]: "one of the best new discoveries for the e30 scene." Something like that.

          Again, not calling you out; we all know tastes change. Just funny how they change.

                    I agree that is has nothing to do with being a purist... the Volvo lip has some weird curve to it that makes it look like a fast and the furious mod. I can understand guys who have no lip at all argue that it looks better than nothing, which may be true, but I still think it ruins the clean chiseled lines of a vintage BMW. I ended up using a mk3 VW 2-pc lip, let me know what you guys think
