    '89 Bronzit e30

So I've been around on the forum for a bit and figured I'd finally post a bit about my car. I purchased the car back in October of 2008 and having been enjoying it ever since.

    Bilstein sports
    H&R sports
    IE 25 F
    H&R 18 R
    e46 M sport seats
    IE shock mounts
    Mtech 1 wheel
Euroweaves (pictures are of 14" weaves)
    Treehouse FCAB's
    Treehouse strut brace

My one little problem with the car (unknown upon purchase) was that the original owner had pinched the strut housing tubes when the Bilstein's were installed. The dampers must have been pressed into the housing just to get them to seat. Going down the road felt like 1000 lb/in spring rates as the pinched tubes had put enough pressure on the damper internals to lock them. Luckily the dampers were permanently damaged. Other than that my only real complaint is personally I feel that the Treehouse LCAB's having a bit too much stiction and defiantly make for a noisier ride...going back to m3 offset stock or powerflex offset

Nice. How do you like the E46 seats? Are they heavy?

I need some new seats for my e30. Well i dont' really, it's jsut that my GF is a little wider in the rear now that she's gotten a little older (the GF, nto the car)and now she's complaing the e30 sport cloth seats I have are uncomfortable on long drives (I feel fine, heck i love the stock e30 sport seats! I jsut wish she'd shut it or buy me new seats since she's the one complaining, but I digress).

how easy is it to install them? how much heavier are they and were they offered in grey cloth?

Thanks everybody. Seats weren't bad to installed just drilled new holes for mounting once they were in what I thought was the right spot. They don't foul on the console either. I don't know if they come in grey cloth as I was just looking for black leather at the time. They do probably weight in around the upper 70 lb area. The seats are fantastic too...wouldn't trade them for anything on the street.

The lip is coming I have an i lip that I was considering turning into a project with a carbon splitter but haven't gotten to that yet.

With the spring and bar setup I should be right around 51% front roll stiffness dist. so yea loving the uprgrades too. Just right for a street car (rare track use).

Sure do. I wired them up to hot at all times...wires run under carpet all the way back to the battery after going under the rear bench.
