Yeah... bone stock suspension with worn bushings is horrible. Even bone stock suspension with fresh bushings isn't altogether that great.

It must have been like a light switch swapping all of these parts at once!

Did you roll the rear fenders flat?

I see you want to sell the G Force Sports to get a narrower tire. Honestly, I love that you've done up a sick suspension, but it seems weird that your priorities are to slam the car rather than maximizing suspension performance or giving your oil pan a fighting chance of not getting taken out by a stack of dimes.

yup. especially after you go with such a hard bushing and track oriented coilovers. I would never spend that much on coils just to go low and break shit every week.

Well you guys have a valid point, I guess I am just going too crazy with my first project car. Im actually going to keep the width and go with 225/45/15 rs3s if someone buys my tires. Those would probably a better choice for the track anyway than my bfg's

Plus I have the peerless skid plate so I'm not scared of much haha, I already had a few nasty encounters which my skid plate made short work of

Oh and about the rear fenders, they're not flat because for some reason there's body filler in between the fender lip, but golde30 rolled them once and then I had them rolled again by Tim @ TFB a 2nd time and he also hammered the inside of the fender well a bit for even more clearance. Golde30 was able to roll the front fenders paper thin the first time and then Tim went around with the mallet and hammered forward the front part of the fender well so now I have absolutely no rubbing issues except when I turn the wheel at near full lock the tires rub against the sway bar.

So I had one hell of a night, came back this morning to get my car out. Flipped it 3 times down a hill. Won't go into details, all I gotta say is thank God I'm alive and in perfect condition, but in the next few months I may start shopping for an e30 rolling chassis or shell to start swapping shit over or part it out and start over with a whole different car.

I'll let the pictures do the rest:

Im glad youre ok man but that really sucks. After all that time, effort and most of all, money that went into the car, for something like that to happen is just tragic. Once again, glad you're ok.

Yup, sucks I put so much money into it but I learned my lesson. I wasn't even going that fast too, after the cop measured my very faint skid marks he calculated 28mph, WTF?!?!?!?!!?!?!?!?!?! I don't know how the fuck I lost control going so slow, I wasn't even trying to drift or anything just take the turn fast.

I gotta say though I'm fucking amazed at my peerless skid plate. I wish I took a picture of how much curb it ate up and it's still perfectly straight on my car. Paint is missing, but the metal is perfect lol.

Anyway, if I don't keep my parts for the next car, I'm definitely goin with cheaper options. I didn't even get to take it on the race track!!!!!!! :( Hopefully my suspension is still usable.. but yeah the important thing is I'm fine, and I'm not even sore! e30s come with natural roll cages baby!

Damn! Only 28 mph?!?! That's nuts! Did you just go straight off the cliff or what? Glad you're ok man. Cars are replaceable and lives aren't. Remember that! Did you understeer or oversteer?

Doubt you were doing 28mph, actually you might have been. Glad you're okay though. Sorry to say, the car doesn't make the driver, the driver makes the car. Based on the suspension setup, you weren't ready to correct the over steer. Doesn't take much effort to get sideways on a stiff suspension setup. Like you said, lesson learned. Hopefully you find another e30 and all the parts/most of the parts are salvageable.

Oh boy, that's rough. You could probably salvage the wheels and MAYBE some of the suspension, but that's a stretch.

I'm glad you're alright. I know exactly how you feel, though.
