Nah, it'll never have class. Just an attitude. ;)

Its going to be a themed car, sorta like my 'ugly argyle sweater' before. Going one of two ways depending on the parts I get in/find etc.

I always thought an mtech1 late model would be cool. With the mtech valence up front will it fill the gap under the bumper? How will you do the rearend with the different arches and all?

Mine is actually an early model. I put a late model front valance on it as I was going to put plastics on it, but figured out that would be just boring. The mtech1 goes between the bumper strip and the bumper all the way down, so that wouldnt be an issue. I have the euro valance to go on there anyway though, so meh.

Here is a late model sedan with an mtech one kit on it. I thought I would like it, but the arches kill it on a lighter car for me.

^ I would love a late model with euros but I'm not sure if I could live with that little gap between the bumper and the fender. Is there anyway to remedy that? I read the thread you posted the pic from and you said that was a vert rear bumper correct? The front bumper can be any euro bumper can't it?

The front is just dandy, the rear is where the problems are at as thats the only body difference from early to late. Yup yup. I also thought about just grafting on a late model tail section for the bigger lights, but I just dont think it would look right.

I wonder if you could cut the end caps in half then take the middle section of another set of caps and bondo 'em together to cover up that last section? I also wonder how these would fit with my ix skirts?

Those 'caps' are m-tech specific and $100 a piece. Not really something I would be up for spending 400 plus materials and my time for a 'maybe I will like it' result. ;)

So, can you actually see anything out of those mirrors?

Also, as far as I know, the euro bumper endcaps are NLA.

The non-mtech ones were out of stock. I didn't check the mtech ones. Reading comprehension owns me again.

I like a lot of stuff about this car, just waiting to see the final results. :D

My main qualm with it is the stance. With stretch like that on those steelies, that bitch needs to be dropped another inch! :hitler:

I'm sure this will happen, because I expect better from you Curt! ;)

Can't wait to see this car on a set of wheels with as much personality as the rest of the ride.. :)
