it ain't no e30 but it is euro BMW stuff

thought I would throw up some pics that might be a little interesting to some people out there.

    2 generations of the 5er.
the green one is mine-- a slow moving project at that. its a 525e 1985-- i think????
80/60mm KAW suspension 2.5i head and intake stuff with a 520i harness. its an auto-- but i have EVERYTHING but time to convert it to 5 speed. 17" BBS RCs are being polished at the moment ((UMMM DAVE))))
needs some work, but its not too bad.
the second is my work car. I am not sure if you all have em in the states-- its a free AAA for all BMW owners-- they talked me into doing this crap a year ago at work-- interesting but sux to be on call! Used to have an X5-- just got this thing about a month ago 525d
    so, pics........

Very cool. I know Mercedes has these in Atlanta, not to sure about BMW...
It would be awesome to buy an e30 wagon and offer the same kind of thing to all "vintage" bmw owners.

It is really for ANY BMW product--motorcycles included. of course if you are the original owner/purchaser of the car- regardless of age of the car you get more perks-- free rental car and what not. the traveling to the car and the first 30 minutes are free for any BMW too. not too bad if you need a jump start one day-- its free..

Man half the kids on here would take advantage of that service if they could. You would be troubleshooting fuel pumps for months.

after working with it for about 2 years now (our dealership was one of the first over here to have it up and running- did plenty of trial runs on our asses. it was pretty crappy in the beginning-- but it is really a stable running system now. I think its millions better that the GT1 was/is. the text search is my best friend on that thing!!!!

my main job out there is honestly unlocking/ breaking into new cars to get the keys out-- and alot of turbos on 300,000 km diesels that crap out on the autobahn.

Glad to hear their is a possibility of that thing becoming stable. Our dealer and all the others local have only been running it for under a year. Constant rebooting and updates suck. German error messages all day. Productivity is in the shitter at the moment. We can't wait o see the light at the end of the tunnel.
