i learnt auto because my family dont have a manual car to practice on and 2 doors are useless. The car runs fine regardless of transmission.

Like i said my family only have auto cars. learning to drive auto is far more appropriate than learning manual as i can get much more practice for free rather than having to hire an instructor for $20 every lesson just for an hours run in a manual.

Automatic E30 vs manual E30 do not compare. They got it right on the M3 and 318is by never offering them in auto..

Im not making excuses cuz. At the time it was a much viable option, at this stage in my life driving a manual tranny car isnt on the top of my priority list, because a) I have to sit another test, and b) i'd have to find a manual car that hasnt been thrashed.
