    Finally found my E30. 1988 325iX.

    My 1988 325iX.
I've wanted one for going on 10 months now and now I've finally got it.

Sold my 4Runner about a month ago and I was able to start looking. (had to rebuild the engine before I could get rid of it for a good price)

So I waited.. looked and originally when I started my obsession in September I wanted an iX, but then ended up just looking for any e30 since an iX is pretty hard to find and a cheap one...yeah.

But turns out just in time to miss the e30 picnic I found my perfect e30!

It was put up as a parts car since the transfer case was said to be gone so I was able to pick it up at a pretty damn good price. Towed it home Saturday and I'm already in love haha

    Anyways on to pictures...

Previous owner upgraded the ellipsoids to 6000k HIDs. Can't wait til it's on the road at night.

I have all 4 15" basket weaves, but when I bought it, the back right was going flat so we put the spare on.

The interior actually looks good, I just need to treat the leather a bit. other than that, it's awesome. Oh and yes they are heated. :)
Oh and EVERY OTHER feature since it is an '88 iX.

Just a few under 150k, not bad.

Only 1 replaced fuse. Engine bay seemed pretty dirty, the car had been parked for a while.

Oh and I'm gonna need a new iX logo..

Oh and ahriley91's m50 swapped 318is. He went for the ride up and tow home of the iX.

I have many plans for this car, but first is gonna have to be a big cleaning of everything.
The car spent a year outside and I can tell in the engine bay. But I looked over it and no serious rust anywhere.
Only major problem it's got is the transfer case (which a newer one is on it's way Wednesday) and the paint on the roof and trunk lid.
Plan is to repaint the whole car this winter, keeping it one of the four colors the iX's came in..Alpeinweiss.

Funny, when I bought my E30, it had a dent in the exact same spot on the front fender.

Nice pickup, not get to modding!

      Sold.......again.

Good score. Where are you at in Puyallup? I grew up there and went to Puyallup HS. I am still there pretty regularly.

Very true, lots of plans for this summer...I'll be starting a build thread soon.

I'm around south hill, near Rogers HS. During the school year I'll be in Bellevue though for bcc
