Thanks Chris. It was an anxious time and the drive back was pretty exhausting. I am not as young as I used to be. I wouldn't have made it without the excellent company of my very supportive wife.

I will be dropping the M3 off at Mario's this weekend, so you will have to check it out.

I guess we will just need to squeeze 3 drives into our schedules!

Thank you everyone for the comments. I have been looking hard for the right M3. I would like to thank Mario at VSR for locating this car, and I would also like to thank all the previous owners for taking such good care.

Until I see one or both in person they don't exist.

very nice find, just take out that ugly blue stripe.. put the red stripe on and you are set..

I'm going to go with stock black. It is supposedly still intact under the blue.

This is one of the very few M3 that I have seen and thought "wow, that is a great looking car." The blue is distinctive; I say keep it.

WOW! Now you have two of the most beautiful e30s in the USA. If they ever get weary from the harsh New England weather, I'll give them a new home in Chattanooga.

At the moment the plans are to service it and get new tires. In the future I am thinking GC coilovers and UUC sways. I am E30 M3 5-lugging the convertible to bring the two closer together.

I sold the RS's on the vert, but will have to find two matching sets for these.
