Thanks guys! I have replaced the glass last night, I just need to replace the a/cheater control panel as it's cracked to hell. For now I'll run the cd/radio delete plate and it's getting wheel locks, good alarm ASAP.

Someone came through and provided a business card to the business owner with a "89 Chevi 1500, Blanca, and nice plate number". Cops ran the plate but it must have a transposed number in it, I've spend a few hours last night using the public ca smog history site as trying different combinations and found one that = C1500.

Hopefully something will come out of this, but I highly doubt it.

delatlanta1281 - thanks dude, cables look to be ok. I am not sure if the control panels are different between early late model cars. I put a 4 speed front panel, but my switch is 3 speed but at least it's better than having a broken front cover.

All of my wiring that I soldered/heat srinked was good as well and wires were ripped on the cd player harness side before the soldered connections lol.

Same thing happened to many years ago with on of my vw's, they stole an old sony cd player that didnt even work, it looked like they hooked the cd player to a fucking f350 and drove of, I had to replace the whole dash.
