That sucks. I had somebody try to pry into my back window a couple years ago in Orangevale. I bought a 2-way alarm the next day.

I never thought somebody would even bother trying to steal my $80 stereo, but I guess I could be wrong.

Also, somebody broke into my wife's car a couple years ago and stole her $35 PA / Animal sounds / Music machine. At least the control unit. They probably thought it was an equalizer. I would have LOVED to seen their reaction when they actually looked at it and saw the settings "frog, dog, cat, chicken". I actually thought it was hilarious that they stole it until I realized that they broke the ONE door lock cylinder on the entire car. If her keyless entry battery went dead and she wasn't near a store, she woulda been fucked.

Here is my new stereo....lol

I am going to replace the a/c / heater panel/controls in the next few days and i'll do the dash swap sometime in the near future as it's not too bad.
