Thanks the pics, my brother won't delete his third light. Maybe that before and after close up will change his mind.

True but who knows what the PO did. It does sound like you have some potential of getting it to work.

Hmm, I'll have to take a look tonight. If the relay was broken/missing I wouldn't be able to hear the motor running from using the buttons on the dash though would I?

I found something that might help. Here is a pix of my MT2 trunk.

The motor above the glove operated the lid. In this pic it is not attached, so swing it back if its not back locked. The relays are to the right of the glove. I had the same problem you had but all I had to do was but a 12v right up to the motor and it closed it flush. So it went from this...

    to this...

I can hear them humming, so they're at least doing something. I'll take a shot of what I have this evening. I think I'm just missing the cables and whatnot that go in the reservoir.

Do any of your motors work? Is the relay panel still there? I dont have pix as of right now.

I know it's not very helpful, I certainly wouldn't pick those tire sizes for a 14x6 wheel.

Does anyone have a pic of what the components of an electric top are in the top reservoir? I don't have anything in there and the diagram on realoem is a bitch to read. I'm trying to figure out what pieces I'm missing so I can at least get the lid to latch.
