So i finally get my car back from paint, and the idiots painted my door handles. Keep them or get new black ones? Oh and he painted the key holes too but i'm fixing that.

Sorry but these are the only two pictures i have until i go back to the shop today.

I thought it would look good, but yeah I like black better I think. Or have them paint it dark grey, ooooh.

Yeah either going to just get a set of used black ones or grab some BMW Motorsport handles. Car was painted by a family friend for free, so didn't really want to start bitchin. He also forgot to paint my IS lip, it was in the bumper pile about to be thrown out.

Repaint them yourself. The handle just comes off with two screws. SEM trim paint is perfect for that.

^ (or duplicolor) and you can paint the lower window trim while your at it to really compliment your nice new paint job.

For the record: If painted door handles/locks are the only downside to a freebie paint job, sign me up two times quick, please ;)

No way. Keep them. Its subtle enough to get away with it. I think with black trim beltline and shadowline, the red handles are a nice way to give it a more "modern" look.

                Sleep on it.
                Reminiscing...

The window trim was painted but when it went in for paint the sanded over it and took it off.

it can be pulled off to look good, maybe on a mtechII car or something. but not on this one, dip that bitch in brake fluid, and paint black.
