    man hole: 1........e30: 0

Came across this little gem in the road today.:woowoo: On to the junk yard tomorrow tomorrow. I didn't think i was low enough to have to get a skid plate but i guess the cabrio's are just lower than coupes.

Always fun seeing your pan in pieces on the road

Gotta question tho, can i get away with reusing the old gasket or no?

Order a gasket from blunt, he'll magically make it appear at your house yesterday.

sad to see. I just had my motor lifted by Castro so the pan isnt the first thing to smack the floor when I hit a dip. Think about that.

Why do people slam their car and then wait for their oil pan to break before getting a skid plate.

I've never had an issue before with my e30's. I usually drive pretty aware (this time i was unfortunately distracted by my grandmother on the phone and didn't see it.)

Plus i'm a broke college grad and $300 is tough to come by with all the fuckin bills... ballin' :pimp:

                          Oil Pan............................................... .................19.81

                          junk yards ftw

Edit: I ran into a 70 year old rich man today. He told me that when i was his age, if i worked really hard, that i'd be able to afford a brand new bmw instead of my old one.

I proceeded to explain to him that I would never drive his car, even if someone gave it to me. But that I would except the generous gift, then sell it for 10 of my cars.

He was confused at my ignorance. lol

sucks this happens but i wouldn't trade it for anything :)
