    hit-n'-run...

...looks like it had 4 wheel steering.

started fixing it yesterday, finishing it up today...
thankfully the wheel made it though unharmed.

Holy poop... how the hell did that happen without totally destroying the bodywork?

lucky the rim wasn't damaged, how bad is the damage underneath?

Doing the repair was such a bitch. The temp gauge in my car read 105 while cruising at 70mph down the highway. The car was in direct sunlight and on the side of a downtown street. Subframe was unharmed. Bent the hell out of the trailing arm though.

See, if you had stretched tires like half the fags here including me, I'm sure you would of had some wheel damage.
I couldn't help but laugh at the first pic though haha.
                      Glad the rest is fine.

The car would barely have any damage if he didn't poke so much.

Even though the wheel looks fine I'm wondering if it may have gotten tweaked at the hub of it.

                            haha unfortunately true

a HUGE thanks to tim (philo) and my brother for all the help. it was about as bad a working envioronment one could hope for, intense heat, working on the side of a downtown street, dealing with bums coming up, ect.

heres some pics of the repair...

on the side of the road -

everything removed... hammered out the wheel well damage, replaced the rub strip, and buffed off the black paint -

one of tim's creative tool contraptions -

the twist in the trailing arm -

                            all fixed -
