Very nice. I need a skid plate as well.

I'm about to order the RaceSkids plate but after searching a bit, I found out that the pan can still break with hard impacts. Albeit highly unlikely, I think I'd pay the premium just to know I can smash into shit with the peerless plate.

On that country road you see above there are several cow grates on my way to work. Right where the road meets the cow grate is a high point directly where my oil pan is. Another thing before the cow grate is a dip, which made my car basically jump onto that high point, (my oil pan in this case), take the impact and shatter the pan. I had driven it many of time before the incident and usually put my wheel right where that hump is so I can basically drive over it, but I literally forgot and I took the worst of it.

i've busted mine 3 times... it isn't hard in mine at all. if you drive around savannah or charleston (and other cities with shitty roads) i am sure you could see how it is easy.

My car is lower than that, and I haven't busted an oil pan yet.

And that car is not nearly low enough to pull off that small of a tire on those wheels. I could fit my head in your rear fender gap.

Yeah, I've yet to rack my pan hard on anything, muchless at speeds over 20 mph. But, there's been some close calls and last minute dodging. Driving low makes you a better driver ;)

I need a skid plate too, badly. But with the intercooler in the way it is gonna be a very tight squeeze!

Stance is great but your tire sidewalls need to be taller to fill in the wheel wells.

Go with the Raceskids plate, A+ quality stuff.

I like your car a lot, and be grateful you haven't busted your pan. I didn't choose that tire size. They came with the wheels. They're bad anyways from camber wear and I plan on getting 205/45's. And feel free to come over to stick your head in my wheel well! ;)

Just bought a RaceSkids! It was over $100 cheaper and I figure if I break my pan with the RaceSkids plate, I shouldn't even be driving.

I just might do that. And thanks. :up: 205/45's are what I have right now, and I think they're perfect. 50's is just a hair too tall for my liking. The reduction in size will affect your speedo just a bit, according to my GPS, I'm anywhere from about 3-5 MPH off at any given speed.
