    I hate m40's with a passion, they are so badly designed distribuition wise...

      M40 is SOHC or DOHC? I have never seen one.

        SHOC, with timing belt that need to be changed every 35 000 miles, and a very fragile head. They come in B16 (316i-105hp) and in B18 (318i-112hp) form. Very fragile engine, worse than the M10 found in 318i's and 316's (without i)

          True story. Those things are so weak and slow that it probably took him less time to polish the parts then it takes his car to go 0-60!

          Nice work though.
