F'in awesome. I so want an old BMW bike. A buddy of mine is currently restoring a War-time R75, with the driven sidecar, and it haunts my dreams. There's just something about shaft-driven boxer bikes...Leave a comment:

love the white. Ive been reading lots on these and learned that back in the 60's and 70's you could order certain bikes in many colors BMW was using on the cars. Like verona and riviera on the 02's. I would have loved a white r69s. They look really sweet and are more rareLeave a comment:

Id hardly call that "settling". Thats a great bikeGreat Bike. I bought my first BMW bike at the height of the economy and couldn't afford the R60 series so had to settle for a later r75 model. Too bad I'm not in a position now to "steal" an R60 series. ;)
Love to kickstart it. It gives such a retro feel to it. Also like the fact that there are no hydraulic brakes, fuse box, halogen, etc. It truly gives it that "classic" feel.

Awesome! That bike looks MINT.
My father hand built an R75/5 out of 3 junked r75's.. hand polished/buffed/cleaned/assembled everything. Only thing he didn't do was paint the fenders.

Do you have any plans for yours?Leave a comment:

hahahaha!
Nice bike. There used to be a BMW motorcycle shop in my town that was a dealer since the 40's. He had so many BMW motorcyle parts NOS sitting in the attic and storage rooms. They just closed up last year. I wish I knew what the guy did with all of the inventory.Leave a comment:
