Flame on... a totally deserved r3v.

Then I was cruising home and I've been doing some Scandinavian flicks and powerslides lately, and well this part of the road I've always wanted to try this. But I wasn't smart enough to realize the steep hill would mean that the back of the car lost ALL weight when the front dipped over the crest and when it came back down it just spun like mad... threw me into one of those little steal guard rails.

Totally deserved, and not the first time I've slid into something. I really should learn my lesson, but it is my first time really losing it in the e30.

I've really been wanting to get onto a track, just don't have the money. Now the car is 100% beater status, and I know I'm 100% driving n00b and need to calm until I get on the track. I've just been enjoying the weather and the swap....

    Right before the accident:

I want it more than anything. Car still drives great. I'd love to beat on it on a track. At least I always wait until no cars area around... only person to hurt is myself and car. I'm just mad that my resale value went from something to nothing. Money is how I think.

They saw me pull out of the ditch. But no one was there at the time.

I believe you understand what you need to do. No one was hurt and you were somewhat responsible about it, being no one around in all. Next time brush up on your parking lot drift and watch more Tokyo Drift. Once you have honed your skills you will be able to drift around random cars doing U turns.

That sucks man. Time to buy some hammers and dollys and learn how to form metal back. It's not the most ideal dent and area of the car to learn on, but you don't really have anything to lose by giving it a try.

Rear quarter panels are a pain to fix. If you want it fixed try find a parts car and cut out the rear quarter panel sections and swap the parts car's panel in. I've seen professional auto body shops do it many times, but it's hard to prep it for paint.

hahhaha. No, it would have been the exact same. Always learning... the slope of the ground has a big play in car balance... who would have thought.

mehhh. The shell isn't exactly awesome, it wasn't bad and was probably worth saving but at this point It's toast.

Well a new tail light won't even fit in the panel is so pushed in. So I'm really not sure what I'm going to do.

hahaha. I will probably parking lot it up. Especially now it doesn't matter if I smack something.
