    Fly Baby and 2 M42 BMW's

    My e30 and my friend's e36. Both M42's.

The Fly Baby weighs 750 lbs empty and has a 150 hp motor.

Very nice. Just out of curiosity, how much does something like that cost?

The aircraft looks like fun. Don't know to much about them but it looks like a canvas...I assume that's why it's so light?

Yea it's wood and fabric. Built the way they ustado.

Don't know on the cost but I guess 30K could get something like that.

My Bonanza is for sale if you got a bunch of money burning a hole in your pocket.

In order to get your FAA A&P you still need to know how to do Dope and Fabric as it's not dead yet.

            Nice airplane.

Good to know. I've never had to work on the control surfaces yet (it's a C-54), the volunteer organization I'm part of usually gives me the jobs that result in me being covered head to toe in grease and oil. Always fun and a great experience towards getting my A&P.

I love my m42, almost too much. Although, I'm sure the Bonanza is fun too.
