Pics of the Changes to My Sedan - Dropped on Refinished 15'' Weaves w/ et16 & et11

Its been a long summer making this all happen, with work, limited funds and a water pump that suddenly took a turn for the worst, there was a lot to do with this car this summer.

    Mods-
    Tuned by RacingPros
    Bilstein Sports
    IE3s (with spring pads)

Refinished IX weaves et16 front & et11 rear
    Toyo 195/65/15s

    Maintenance-
    Water pump
    Thermostat
    Timing Belt
    Brake pad Senors

So that being said, Im pretty happy with how it all turned out. This is my daily driver and its a blast to drive and mess around with. I've now had the car for just over a year and it has been great to me. I've learned a lot by just messing around with it in the garage.

I'm not that excited about the wheel color. I wanted them to look OEM but I think they are too light. I guess it figures, I should have just coughed up the extra dough and got OEM BMW wheel paint.. Doh!

    The fitment pic

And a close up pic, refinished by yours truly.

    Thanks for looking.

How did you refinish them? I thought they were 14"'ers only because you put/had those balloons mounted. Maybe thats on your list...205/55s. Judging by your SW stickers maybe 205/50s for your final look. It looks like your gonna hafta take your pads out and get some drophats too. Im digging the 4dr DB cleanliness.

Looks sweet, although that stanceworks sticker isn't exactly working for you.
Your signature picture has been removed since it contained the Photobucket "upgrade your account" image.

I think the ride height and tires are perfect. I wouldn't change a thing besides the bumpers.

I either want 15 inch weaves or those trmotorsports wheels off TireRack for 396 bucks.

I dismounted the tires, sanded them with 160, 220 and then 400 grit sandpaper, washed them really well, let them dry, then hit them with 3 or 4 layers of primer, then 3 or 4 layers of paint, then clear coat.
Pretty simple actually. They were curbed really bad so I found some liquid metal that worked wonders. I applied it to the lips that needed some help let it dry then sanded it smooth. It filled in the curb rash really well, now its a test against time to see if it lasts.

The tire situation is kinda stupid, I know. The wheels and tires came together and for $200 I can't complain. They are practically brand new... so it was a no brainer for me. I'm not made of money - so for now they will have to do.
But yeah I would have most definitely preferred a 205/50.

Dude, its a sticker. I appreciate your input but not about the stickers I choose to put on my car. I love StanceWorks - the people, the website, the cars and most importantly the idea behind it.

Sounds sweet, although that screen name isn't exactly working for you.

Yeah... I noticed that after I edited the pics. It was just the lighting.

Looks good. I have a weak spot for eta sedans. ;)

Hit up the lock strips with some trim paint, and paint the little silver connectors on there too. Will clean it up a bit, and its cheap.

                        Thanks.

What lock strips are you referring to?
