    Lowered it today:(

Hey Guys I had the shop install H&R Sports with Bilstein sports, I have to say I'm very dissatisfied with how the car sits:|. I had a set of H&R race on my e36 M3, and loved them! Tunnermotorsport show they have two sets of sport springs 1.25/1.25 and 1.5/1.25 and course their Race drop! Race springs would have been more than I needed and 1.25/1.25 isn't enough drop so I went for the 1.5/1.25 drop, I figured this would have been perfect, but I'm very unhappy with how it sits! In person, it's very noticeable! Also last two pictures are of how the front coils sit, passenger side they stack at the base and driver side they don't! Springs are not up side down either, Everything was installed by a professional! I will call Tunnermotorsport tommorrow and see what they say

    Before

Let me know what you guys think Thanks..

Even with drop hats, he'd still have mad reverse rake.

      Late-model rear arches FTL.

this is true. possibly stack pads in the rear. but janderson is right. just deal with it or coilovers.

edit:take a bit off the front coil...

^^^Now that you mention Dinan, I'm taking a look at my car and mine still seems to sit "better" than what the OP posted.

What were you expecting? If you measure the drop is probably even and it just looks un-even because of the late model body style.

Part of the sitch with us facelift car guys is that the rear wheel arches are substantially lower than the front.. maybe you should put on some miles and see how things settle in? Damn, I've been contemplating this same package and I'd be unhappy too.

you could be rite about late model body style.. TMS shows 1.25 rear drop and the car seems to sit more like 1.5 in the rear.

Yep, late model rear arches FTL. Reverse rake sucks.

                      ^^^

Not sure how you made your car look like a toy.

That's pretty much the drop, OP. Cut a coil and get yourself some drop hats. I ran just drop hats and got a bit lower, but also had H&R Race setup.
                      Need a part? PM me.

Mt. veiw should give them out, Campbell gave me mine. I had drop hats in my other e30 and it sat perfect, but it started bottoming out like crazy, I think cause I had eibach pro's, so its a softer spring rate. Kinda why I want to avoid putting some in with these H&R's, 200 up front is their spring rate, I might start bottoming again! I just want the back higher:(btw, what hats r u running? Thanks.

I ran RichardKeith's 25mm drop hats. Run e90's otherwise. I never bottomed out on Billie Sports and H&R Race but, my oil pan was in peril almost everyday (M42).

My last late model, Eibach Pro's/Drop Hats with Bilstein sports.
I would think the rears would be some what the same? It just seems more than a 1.25 rear drop...

You are going to bottom out like a motherfucker if you do any of this with sports.
I have friends who bottom out once every blue moon on dips with sports and no drop hats.

Invest in some race springs with drop hats or similar ones with high rates.
