New! picked up an e30

Hi, my name's Adam.
I just picked up this 1990 325i, & it's my first. The previous owner had just installed H&R Springs & bilstein dampers. It handles wonderfully.


It's a bit of a different animal for me--I come from the subaru wrx realm, but I broadened my horizons and I'm loving the ride of the e30. There is definitely a lot to learn, however. First thing I want to do is get rid of the oxidation on the trunk, & repaint the mirrors. Then maybe some swaybars...

are they very hard to come by? the previous owner didn't make that big of a deal about them, he said he had just picked them up off craigslist or something.

Nice! I went from an M52 swapped E30 to a WRX wagon. I miss my E30 a lot! :(

Sorry I'm thinking with my ix head were h and r's are generally thought of as terrible. I would ask about the H&R race.

Well yeah they are important. However, because you're not tossing around a ~3400lbs beast they're not AS important than some thing like the giant loose springs that are on there now. H&R Race are great springs but most people would tell you to get coil overs. (I'm one of them).
