3 e30 M3 cabriolet Vert reps go to 2 shows and get 2 awards... Bimmerfest 2010 pics

so this morning we met up with Eddie and Mike in the Bronx on the way to Long Island for the Bimmerfest show.
You've seen Eddies vert but Mike just finished his, it's not even completed, still needs some work so no detailed pics yet..

the weather was a little cloudy so the pics are not that great :(

we were joined by few other guys and finally got it rolling

so finally we get to Long Island and this show is booming, all the spots outside are taken (at 10 AM) and we are parked at the garage which was also cool because 2 levels were occupied by nothing but the BMWs

    she was just passing by

    then we go outside..

how about a BMW pickup truck from PA (Lots of farms there I heard)

    old and new BMW bikes

    lots of exotics were there

2 questions I want to ask are:

    a) why?

    b) what's with the camber?

I've always been kind of surprised that no one with an M3 vert rep has done the Zender M3 replica rear wing (meant for the standard E30 trunklid, which the M3 vert uses). I'm quite curious to see how it looks. Vlad, be the first.

next we leave Long Island and move on to Eurothon in Yonkers

our arrival was kind of unexpected and we were nicely welcomed there

the rain started to come down hard, we got our 2 little awards and it was a good ending to a perfect day

low car + narrow high offset wheels = camber.... lots of it. Glad to finally see my car get some shine!

Vlad already has that spoiler, thanks :D

I don't think a rear wing looks good on a vert, I've seen few of them and never liked it, it just looks so much cleaner without one

There she is, the wheels really make it look more pronounced than it is. At any rate, thanks for the pic!
