hey guys,

Thought i would say a few lines so the first post wouldn't be asking for help :)

The e30 have always been a car i've wanted to have but have never gotten around to getting one. So last winter i decided i need a cheap banger for the winter and thought it would be the car for me. So got myself a 320 -87, and got pretty bored quickly with the performance. So after a few months i got myself a m20b25 engine wich i rebuilt and from there it started to get out of control, so hard to leave things alone. Since that i have had the car in bits fixing rust and doing heaps of upgrades. The latest was a 3.73lsd and some headers. Will post more pics later but these are the ones i found on the work laptop. This is after i painted it

Ok, so here are some pics

This is when i picked it up, not great looking but not bad either.


After a few months i realised i need a bigger engine, so rebuilt an old m20b25, all new bearingsm pistonrings, pumps and so on...

next was to get it all installed, my "borrowed" garage ain't so big but beats working outside

Ha ha same! It relieves me to see a build from finland that us normal people can aspire to! Nice car op. Can't wait to see outcome!

ha ha, well to be honest I have plans but I don't have the cash to put in it yet.

And a friend has a supercharger from a merc that i might buy when i get cash. probably won't happen this year though.

Love the whine from a supecharger so i think i will go in that direction...

Are the chrome bumpers in good condition? If you are swapping them for plastic ones, just send them my way, don't throw them away;)

Edit: Oh I see the front is already plastic. Hmm... I'll take the remaining one anyway:)

I'd stay away from those coilovers, try sticking with ground control's and other coilovers that have been commonly used on e30's... Otherwise, sounds like you heading in the right direction.

Conki: Thanks, the cars didn't have bumpers when i bought it. The chrome bumper is all twisted and rusted away.

To be honest the car didn't have anything, or alot of things from one side. Like two left calipers, two right headlights, got two bumpers with the car that didn't fit (e34), and the list goes on and on, the guy that i bought it from said it would fit but should have checked before i bought it, anyways its all good now
