dynamic drive is fun to drive, but a $1500 sway bar is not fun. I always feel like a jerk quoting them because of how expensive they are. Imho the last BMWs to own are e46, e38, e39. but still e66 are pretty comfy and moderately fun to drive.

When you say BMW tech, do you mean like a mechanic? No offense intended at all, but I didnt realize techs made enough money to afford a 750.

A tech will diagnose and fix the problem. A mechanic will change parts he thinks might be the problem. At least thats the explanstion my buddy gave me....:)

Um...Well this is all me:www.vicsbimmer.com , and Im a consultant for other self-employed business owners. My wife makes a pretty penny also. She is a teacher&education coordinator with a Masters so she is paid accordingly $$$$.

750s are in the mid 30s, if I'm not mistaken. Techs make up to around $90k in my shop.

You are right bud, I have one entry level tech and he is definately happy I showed him this a career move from being a bus boy.

Congrats on the new sled. However, I have had a E66 and it was one of the least reliable vehicles I have ever owned. Problem, after problem, after problem!

I wish I had access to all the computer diagnostics though!

E-60 ar nice, for the features I chose the 7, the dynamic drive makes this car handle very easy. I picked this car for the "lazy" functions for my wife, auto trunklid, voice over commands etc. I have 3 kids, 10yr 5yrs & New Born anyday now. It is enough room for everyone to be comfy.

The e60 has the same features and it's not as huge. The e60 has all of those features you listed, dynamic drive, auto trunklid, voice over. The 550i has 360hp just like the 750Li, only the 550i is lighter in weight. The 5-series is a foot shorter than the 7 too.

Sorry, my boyfriend has an '06 550i and I think it's a bit too big. So of course I think the 7-series is wayyy too big! Hopefully you won't have to drive it mcuH!

Thats why I got it! I am able to do all the work myself. $aves me a lil that way.:)

I hate those nightmare of a cars- fun to drive but nothing but problems and sqeaks/wind noise everywhere.
I also love doing weekly wheelbearings and CCC crap on em!

hey hey hey, cant forget the rear door panel leather needing to be re-glued by the sunshades. Or replacing the sunshade mechanisms. Or (my favorite) a delicious alternator oil-bracket seal. mmm, warranty goodness.

Trust me I know, but for $13k can you blame me for treating myself? or my Wife & Kids. My 5yr old girl said "OMG Daddy, that is a really cool Bimmer das for me & Leilani?" LOL that makes it worth it.

Im having a lil girl Carnal, so that makes two! As they grow up I will slowly start building a torture&interrogation room! full of semi-fully automatic weapons.
