Euroweaves going into retirement come spring....

I've gotten a bit sick of the Euroweaves, and have decided to use my current set as winter wheels. These will be taking their place:

They are the MSW's I had for sale, decided to hold on to 'em. I'll be refinishing them this winter, and running them in the spring with the 60/40 Fk's if they ever get any back in stock. An (e36)M42 is in the works for the springtime, i'll run the M40 through the harsh winter.

And Levent, i'm gonna need a set of those flush mount valves.

Your 1st statement is exactly what I feel but your still keeping weaves? I thought (like me) you are just so frickin tired of cleaning these dam things. For this only reason, I hate weaves.

I do like your winter look though. ;)

Thanks. I'm gonna have it detailed in the spring...no point in doing it now, and i'm a procrastinator.

EDIT- I JUST got it, "it's red". Yeah, I made sure I got a red one so you'd like it. There was an Alpine White Euro S50 6spd, but I said " 'f' it, Vlad will like the red 318i M40 better."

Yeah, well, I just painted the ones I was using and they are in otherwise good wheels...so I will use them to take the winter-beating. The Euroweaves and MSW's are very different after you've been staring at them side-by-side for a month and a half. Plus the 'Weaves are FACTORY, so I won't have to have another set of wheels written into my Fahrzeugschein(Registration). Modding in Germany is a PITA.

Let me clarify, I hate Euroweaves as my main squeeze b/c they're played out. The last (2) sets I sold took forever b/c everybody already has them. AND I still have (2) more sets sitting in my basement.

I have nothing against Mesh or Weavey wheels, just Euroweaves. I have not seen one other E30 with these MSW's, though I have seen a set for sale on here, and I don't think i'll be running into him at Cars 'n' Coffee.

Gimme a 'hell yeah' if you too are sick of Euroweaves......

EDIT- I'd rather run Bottlecaps or my ARC's, there are fewer people with those.

                Nice....

I hear ya. They are popular but they fit the cars perfectly. My only negative with the euroweaves are they are pita to clean and keep clean.

But im getting outta the weave biz for a bit myself as these are off to the refinishing shop in the morning. ;) You dont see these that often.

Do you have a set in not so great condition?

Looks good. I like weaves but, as you said they are so common on e30's.
N2MYE30, where did you get the throwing stars? All of those are reps correct?
