Finally got around to taking a decent photo of my car

I even made it my sig picture. ;) I didn't really have that much time, so this is the only angle I have. I think it turned out well though. It's an '89 325i on Bilstein Sports and H&R Sport Springs.

    Edit: I changed the picture

Yea I'm thinking about it, just have a ton of other stuff higher up on my list of things to do. I also think it looks a little higher in that picture than it actually is.

            Anyways thanks for comments everyone.

Very nice photo! What color is your interior? Looks like Vlad's ferrari yellow interior.

First off, I really like your car, looks super clean, even on bottle caps. Second off I like the picture, its hard to shoot cars with strobe and this is pretty clean.

                      But

With a little work you can make it look a little more legit. The biggest thing is dodgeing and burning the mistakes you made lighting it (I do this a whole bunch). Things like light spill and hotspots and overall getting the light to look even. I cleaned up the light spill on the ground a good amount, you dont want to be able to immediatly see where the flashes were. Also evened out the light on the car a bit and evened out the light on the wheels. Just little stuff, i hope you dont mind =]. Im just an arrogant 17 year old, yell at me if you want.

ignore the pixilation, i didnt have a big file to work with.

Thanks for the tips, I haven't really done that much shooting with strobes and this was actually my first time shooting a car (w/ or w/out strobes) I like your edit and I'm going to play around with it a little more and try and improve it.

Interior is tan cloth lit with a flash with a yellow piece of duct tape on it. Still haven't gotten around to getting any gels. It's not very representative of the actual color though.

And no worries, I'm just a 17 year old kid too.

Ayo props to you then, the shot is a good start. Shooting cars can be one of the biggest PITA's

Great picture, looking very very clean. I had to do a doubletake, the shadow on the roof almost made it look like a baur.
