Buddy, nice looking e30 you got there. Always a big fan of white ones...

Are those just black painted weaves? If not, what the heck are they? Crappy monitor over here, can't really tell.

I kinda like the shift knob, never seen it before, what is it? Nice and stubby. Shift boot and ebrake boot look nice. What's up with the non-matching seats? Is that a grey sport seat in the pass side? That's what's going in my car, thanks to Rob :)

Against rear plate fillers? I guess. Sometimes they do make the car look like a Jetta or something, but I think it'd look good and help balance the black wheels etc.

Mtech II steering wheels are not hard to find. They just cost a lot. Get $200 together and you can find one no prob...check the overseas Ebay if needed. That sure would look nice on your car man.

All in all, a very clean car. IS lip seconded here, keep it clean and factory beeeyatch.

weaves are painted dark blue, got em from some guy in wisconsin, maybe he painted them. shift knob is from an ex-member here that was machining them from a block of aluminum, i like it even though it gets hot as hell out here in zoni land. passenger seat is blue, driver seat is black recaro srd. i have $200+ laying about, but I don't wanna pay the huge shipping charge for one from germany, so i'm waiting for one in the US to pop up for sale. i'll have to see what the rieger is going to look like on my car, if i think it won't look good, then it will be up for sale.

Does anyone know the diameter of the roundel in the airbag wheel vs. M-tech I wheel?
I'm probably the only one to say this, but I kinda like the look of the airbag wheel.

Leathered airbag wheel with the M-tech I's (or any other wheel's) colored roundel I think would look sweet...




Just a thought, before you go out and buy the M-tech II wheel.

Haha, noope, just bought it for $80 from MR 325. When I was looking around for them, there were a couple guys offered theirs, I'd PM some of the guys who bought them and see if they're interested in selling.

Royalflush, the other reason I'd want the Mtech II (besides it being gorgeous) is that it comes in a barely-smaller size than the airbag wheel. If my wheel now were 15mm smaller, I wouldn't be searching for a new one. A colored roundel might look cool on it, but a nice leather wrap would be better.

I've summed up that I need more work to the interior than anything else, so here's my go at it...

get rid of the recaro (honestly, I just don't need it as much as you'd think) and reupholster my sport seats with Rob's materials in blue. buy some blue carpets with "318is" in it instead of the black ones I have now. Mtech I/II wheel, tear out the radar detector, tint the windows, get some newer pedals, but nothing like those AC ones I see everywhere.

and with the exterior, new fogs, probably keep the IS lip, sell the reiger replica thats coming in the mail right now (anyone...??), paint some ugly spots white, get a euro grill.
