    Zen Interior Shot

Hola amigos. I know it’s been a long time since I rapped at ya. Life’s been keeping me busy to say the least.

Anyway – wanted to share this picture I took last weekend:

I put a whole bunch of obsessive, meticulous work into the interior over the summer. Returned to original door cards from the tan houndstooth ones I had. Taped off the cloth inserts and spayed the vinyl with VHT satin black. Leather brake and shift boots. Short OE shift knob. 316i HVAC panel. Old Alpine head unit. Momo wheel. Momo mats. Momo pedals. Buttonless console. Replaced ashtray with cupholder piece. Window switches relocated to HVAC panel. Wired maplight mirror. Keyless glove box latch.

I love the look of the swtichless console, but where theyve gone now looks odd. Super clean though, props

Not sure I would have put it that way, but the shift boot bugged me immediately as well. Everything else is super mega gangster though, mos def.

Am jealous of your 316i HVAC panel. Levent has been looking for one for me but nothing so far.

looks hella clean. window switches were relocated in an awkward place, woulda been cool if places on the arm rests on the doors. and fix that shift boot, otherwise, awesome interior!

Nice work, looks like a fresh interior and the door panels came out nice. Not crazy about the window switch placement, seems awkward, yet original.

Should've brought it to VintageFest on Sunday.
