Then they'd be in the same place that every other car has their power window switches located. I already have a space planned for them, totally out of sight, but completely and easily accessible.

Exactly my thoughts. It definitely de-clutters the interior but it reminds me of a Honda Civic CX. The obc isn't even that distracting...I rarely fuss around with it. I occasionally check the temperature and the date.

Fixed that for you. That's the look I like inside my car, which is why I did it.

It's a BMW part. I know you know this, but I felt it needed to be said. Some people prefer a spartan interior, I'm one of them. My whole design for my car is a minimalist/motorsport theme, with the things that aren't used and don't need to be there removed altogether.

I will second this, but state that i like my analog clock. Still declutters (cleaner and more timeless than an obc) but avoids the delete or "I wonder what option this hole is for" look

Yea, but that's not "spartan" - it's "cheap". Spartan would be if there weren't panels there at all. The empty panels that clearly SHOULD have something in it just look like you've bought the cheap model.

i like what you did with the window switches. props to you on being different. That center console is insanely clean. ow tuck in that shift boot and put an E36 M3 knob on there.
