I will try to take one. These are a really wide 205's and they have a fairly large rim protector. I would imagine these don't look as stretched as a normal all-season tire might look. Although a 55 series tire is not go to be as much of a stretch as the 50's I have.
PS go with the 8's...you won't regret it!!E30 325i 24v, E36 M3/4/5, MK2 GLI 16v, NA8 Miata

Camber definitely does wear tires, but if they are scrubbing everywhere you go that will generally be a worse problem.I would imagine you tire wear is from not having enough positive toe-in. I believe these car want to be slightly toed-in in the front also. Camber does not wear tires, excessive toe-in/out does!!! Your rear camber really isn't that bad.
The body roll dropped dramatically with these shorter side walled tires! Not that it was bad before but the car feels much more settled mid-corner.
Cheers!!
In terms of toe, I am still experimenting. I like turn-in and tend to sacrifice tire wear for performance. I am considering reverting to just within stock toe tolerance and increasing camber a bit for my next alignment (which will be coming up after I replace that loose tie rod).
Tire wear is all relative. It would be wearing pretty badly if you had sticky tires and were not very nice to them.paint sucksComment

I am surprised these haven't gotten more attention, but at 15x9 +36 you will need big spacers.paint sucksComment

^^and they are non hub-centric.
You are correct about camber causing tire wear, but it has to be 3+ before it becomes a really issue. I see too many cars come in to my shop with "camber wear", when really it was just a poor alignment. Modern alignment machines are dummy proof and if these tire guys see green the car is good to go!! but really we almost alway go to the more positive toe spec in the rear on both Mercedes-Benz and BMW's.E30 325i 24v, E36 M3/4/5, MK2 GLI 16v, NA8 Miata
