I run 225/45 with the same wheels, pretty low. 215/45 will fit no problem, you probably will have to roll the fenders a bit. I would recommend 225/40

So if i lower it with 16X9's on the 215-40s do i need to roll the fenders? sorry i am super newb when it comes to this?

I wanna get 215-45's but the fronts are brand new. so i don't know. The rears are like pretty much done :p

Mine were already rolled so idk, I really doubt you'd have to roll at all with 215/40's.. 45 series tires raise the car up too much IMO, my car was pretty slammed with 215/40 but the 225/45 made it look 4x4ish.
