New guy here. With first E30

Hi, well this is my first post. Been lurking around for a while now while I was on the market for my first E30. As of yesterday, the search is over, as i bought my first E30. Its a 1988 325i white 4 door. I've been dreaming about on for over 2 years now. Just couldn't find the right one or the right deal. Well, I waited long enough and a personal friends car came up for sale and I couldn't refuse. Also, I was tired of daily driving an aircooled VW for the past 3 years in AZ. The 325i is in perfect mechanical shape, with receipts to prove it and all done within the last 15,000 miles. The AC is Ice cold. Only one minor rip in the leather on the back seat. It's all stock, but came with plastic bumpers that i need to install. etc.. anyways I'm sure you tired of reading so here are some pics..

all the spare part that came with the car.

and the old daily now weekend car if anyone was curious. Drove the piss out of this car every day for the past 3 years and put 60,000 miles on it on a pretty built engine.

great car. Love the color combo, and the # of doors.
Keep the Diving Boards. Nice dub as well.

Thanks for all the welcomes and kind words! I love the car. I'm still trying to figure out what exactly I want to do with it. Whatever it is, its going to be subtle tasteful mods as I do not want to ruin such a clean car. Its probably going to get a suspension put into it this weekend as well as a good wash and buff job to make that paint shine. I'm looking forward to some meets and drives, so if your in Tucson or AZ let me know!

Very nice, very clean. Red on Alpine is tits. The bumper swap should look great on there, even if it does spoil the '88ness of it.

Thanks guys! I am really excited about this car. Finally got to take it on a nice winding road today and I am amazed at how planted the car felt through the corners, even on stock suspension. It felt better than my pops mk5 GTI. I am def. hooked now. :p

after maintenance of course, do suspension and wheels first!! That transforms the car more than even a motor swap for example.

and you have a super nice car there. Definitely keep it in good shape, and stay away from the Arizona humidity, road salt, and blizzards!! ;)

Thanks! The P.O did the timining belt/water pump, all suspension bushings, rebuilt the shifter, serviced the rear end, brakes, wheel bearings, driveshaft support bearing, tokico shocks etc in the last 10K. He gave me some springs that don't have any ID on them, he told me that they were from an m3 and says they'll lower the car approx 1in.- 1.5ins . Don't know if they'll work on the 325i. Been trying to search but so far i have come up empty handed. I guess I'll find out this weekend. If they'll work, they will hold me over until i can get some money to do the suspension right. (full time student kind of hurts the funds sometimes)

After taking this thing for about a 25mile drive up the mtn last night, i can't imangine how much better it could handle with a good suspension and decent set to tires under it.8-)
