Day my cousin dropped it off (8/15/10):
Never had anything to show as it is all stock save a Dinan chip I got from MR 325. I'm "modding" it slowly but surely and in the end hope to have a nice euro 4 door. Till then, I'm going black bumpers on diamond racing steelies. Still need to pick up my is spoiler from ak and a euro valance in L.A.
Background:
This lady in Rancho bought the car new for 22k back in 85. Years later she was in an accident with another car and could no longer drive stick. Car sat for a looong time until my cousin's friend found it and decided she would flip it (side story, this friend of hers is also a family friend. Her brother had a delphin late model back when I was a kid and I loved e30's ever since I saw the red gauge lights and heard the sporty exhaust note!). My cousin was supposed to hold on to it just for a little while but she (yes SHE) ended up buying it. She serviced most of the common wear items and drove it until she got married in Feb. 07. After that it was driven occasionally and ultimately stored away in her apartment garage.
Forward to summer 09, She told me she would be giving me the car sometime in the near future. I was stoked. However, I didn't think I would have to wait a whole year -__- Anyway, a couple friends told me about r3v and I joined litterally that night. Ever since then Ive been soaking up info on these fine cars and felt like I walked in to the greatest lab in the world when my cousin showed up to my door with keys in hand :)

Shout out to ubernasty for tips on paining the bumpers and shadow line!
Started the painting proccess last week and finally got the rear end put together today (needs a tuck):
Needs WAY more low, I know :(
And a few random shots:
"Minty" ~160k eta; took a couple days to clean
Manditory strut tower pic.:
Fits snuggly in it's home:
Its on a jack; I was cleaning the wheels:
As of now car is in a few pieces getting ready for paint:
Got bored:
And thats it for now. Excuse the crappy cell pix; better shoot to come later on. Also have more pix for a build thread I will start when I'm not feeling lazy ;)
