I just got a new e30 Vert in Zinno 1988.
Im doing my wish list now to see where to start with it.( mtech2 or Mtech1...??)

It needs some work mainly cosmetics... It has some rust areas and paint is really faded..

Im going to start taking the car apart completly and do a full rebuild.

Ok so the question is what color top should i use.
It has tan interiors which need to be redone because they arent worth shit... hahaha
Im torn between a tan top or black.....

Any pics of red verts with tan or black tops?

maybe Try Mtech1, you can get a good condition Mtech2 vert for cheaper than it would be to build up that one. mine was only $4300. and another guy i was talking was selling his for 3800 in better condition than mine. or you can spend 2k on a body kit and still not have a all the fun mtech2 toys. go mtech1 with that one

Id love to find a good condition mtech 2 or good condition vert here in PR...98% of the people here dont have a clue
on what an mtech 2 kit is hahaha !

So it is very dificult to find one...
Ive been looking for a vert for 2 years...
Finally got this one very cheap $600
And mechanically its in really good condition just the body needs allot of work.

Thanks Ive been really thinking of keeping the DB's and IS valance and painting them like my other e30 to have them matching...LOL

Will see what happens $$$ and how much body work it needs and then ill decide what kit to put in it...

Can you even fit an Mtech1 in an 88ic? I know they have DBs but aren't the rear arches different such that the rears wont meet? I might be mistaken.
