2 years ago i had no clue what mtech meant...Until i came to R3v haha Now i want to own too many e30's, too many projects in mind but not much $$$ to do them right now...

Holy shit. The same exact thing happened to me when I was on the highway several years back but I was able to control the car when it happened. I managed to limp it off of the highway several blocks back and replace the wheel. It destroyed my right front ACT wheel along with the brake line. It was fun stopping with the ebrake for several blocks...luckily the exit is only like 5min from my house.

Glad youre ok.
But WTF! my caliper on the passenger side also locked up on me twice! I think it was a bad rotor. As I replaced everything except that the first time (stupid I know).
Is this a big undisclosed problem with E30's?
You're car looks like it was babied throughout and only the best for it. Sorry to see that happen man. But weird to hear that same story again.
