Just got back from Chicago for a fun weekend away. Picked up a set of wheels there (Thanks Dan).

Woke up from recovering from the drive around noon and couldnt resist mounting them.



Car actually came up on the coils. Ride is much less teeth-grinding.





Shit shots but you get the idea.



Then a couple of friends came over to hang out and say hey.



We got to talking about our cars and I couldnt resist doing some work...

And I got to work on my rat.

Hour or two later, I had the CD deck fixed in the sleeve, chopped down the muffler tip (till I mount new magnaflow canister, Thanks RobertK!), dismissed fogs and flaps, and stripped the bumpers.

I really grew to like the DBs more than I had ever imagined but when finished I think Ima dig the bumperless hard.











There she sits. Definitely some plans in store for her.

Looks schweet. I saw a new pic of it in the beater thread and wondered why you hadn't updated your build on it.

I like the bumperless look too, in the rear at least, the front has too many brackets/bolts

The plans are kinda different at the moment. Probably a bunch of cutting, welding, and janky ass paint :D.

It will look meaner than it is until spring when hopefully I'll have my m20/g260 refreshed and modified to drop in.

These are all the things I'm lookin at to mount up my same exact wheels. Mine have a +15 offset

Just a set of hubcentric rings. Just make sure you own either a thin walled socket of lug star for removing the stock lug bolts as the channels are a very tight fit.

Thanks to Turk and L I got the beater I was looking for and a beater it shall be. I considered a set of euro bumpers, even ratty ones, but my investments are going to remain reserved on this little car. Cost me $0 to yank the bumpers off . I've got some plans to make it look better/original for sure. It may come along slow but it will get some things yet to be done round' these here parts.
