Thanks everyone for the comments. Just continuing what Ryan started. I feel that being a pretty rare car (35 made from what I can tell) that I need to keep it pretty much the way it was made.
As for what I have done so far, I replaced everything in the cooling system. Radiator, all hoses, thermostat, header tank etc. Old radiator had a broken mount and was some tawain special. I have replaced the rear shocks and mounts (I have Hartge Bilsteins that are going to Bilstein for a rebuild). I did the swaybar drop links front and rear. Did the control arm bushings. Adjusted the parking brake so it works now. I replaced pretty much every vacum line/hose on the motor, all were dried out and crumbled from age. Adjusted the valves. Replaced tranny/rearend fluid with Redline. Replaced the headlights with Euro Smilies. Fixed the driver side window (had a lock heater all tangled up in there). I've replaced all the front bumper trim. Rebuilt the dogleg shifter assembly.
As for the winter projects, this is what i have planned. Get the dogleg in there with a new clutch. The clutch master cylinder is leaking, so that and the slave will be replaced. I want to do the front Bilsteins (I have an extra set I will replace them with until I get the Hartge units rebuilt). The oil pan was cracked and welded at one point - the weld is weaping oil. Also, the drain plug threads are marginal at best. I have an extra pan so I will lift the motor and do the pan and gasket. The headers have fried off some of the rubber coating on the oil cooler lines, so i will have some new ones made up (plus they leak at the inlet a little). Headers also fried some of the coating on the engine wiring harness, so I have a spare 323i harness. I will put some jackets on the headers to keep the heat at bay. I want to powder coat the Hartge Valve cover. Also want to sent the steering wheel down to AGLA for a recover. The clear coat on the side skirts is a little cracked and the front spoiler has a few areas were the paint is lifting. May take them off and send them to my uncles body shop (well, my uncles old partner-uncle retired) for a repaint. The radio also looks way to modern in this car. Have and original 84 BMW radio, but don't think I can deal with that. Have a early 90s Alpine that matches a little better - may install that and clean up the wiring under the dash well I'm at it. Someone had an aftermarket alarm in it and there are extra wires everywhere. I also have some more new trim items to install (grill, back bumper trim, etc).
So, this is my plan. We'll see how much of it I actually get done. Like I said, will take lot more pics and maybe start and build thread.

Here is what Ryan had as a thread. Mostly trying to figure out what he had (be it a real Hartge car which is now verified) and the paint bodywork.
One more thing I did find for the car because I'm somewhat anal about it is an original set of silver Hartge stripes. The ones on there now are nice but about 3/4 of an inch too wide. Haven't decided if I'm going to put them on or save them.
