Driving where the road takes you.

I don't know about anyone else, but sometimes I like to just drive, and go where the road takes me. About 30 minutes off any main road I found this nice view. Stopped for a few pictures.

Yeah, pretty much the whole Willamette River Valley is like that. The coast has some even nicer views, imo. Eastern Oregon, however, is a desert... literally.

Oregon, or Eugene is a nice green area. Too much rain though and it was waaaaay tooo boring for me when I was there on a business trip last year. Those hills, the cascades or whatever are nice too. And that willamette pronounciation still baffles me to this date.

PS: I am a true car lover. I enjoy driving, not only on the perceived limit in auto-x but also on simple beautfiul scenic routes.

Last time i did this, i found a really sweet spot by a pond, and then almost got rearended, almost drove off the road because of construction with no signs up, and i got a flat

Yah I've tried that when I get bored.

One night I got out of an attempted carjacking and the other time I ran outta road and light...

Yeah, we're missing a key element to make that work: elevation change.

30 min in any direction and you're at another flat country road or city intersection.
