                I have in fact aired the car a few times, the springs rates are stiff enough to allow it to without bottoming out or hitting the oil pan

                the wheels are heavy
                but they are strong .. with 35 profile tires strength is a larger factor than weight....for a DD

                  Found a pic a while back of a black E30 with a set on it, and damn, those wheels are so hot. I thought they were heavy though, but yeah, I can see your point about strength.

                          lucky.

                          i got air in my e30 going uphill once, and when it landed it scraped the oil pan, but no crack...did ruin the powdercoat though...my suspension is NOT stiff enough it turned out... :roll:
