Just got my new toy

Too bad it's going to have to sit for a few months before I can use it consistently. I mainly got it because it was a good deal (winter pricing) and I had the cash. The weather has been pretty nice so far, so I've ridden it almost everyday.

Overall, I'm liking it a lot more than my 94 RS that I sold recently. So many changes in five short years.

Details: 1999 BMW R1100S, 24000 miles, ABS, saddle/tank bags, full Ohlins suspension (found out this was over 2k + install), carbon fiber front/rear huggers, Sargent seat upgrade, yadda yadda yadda, onto the pics:





I paid 5k for it; for those of you who know something about these bikes, do you think I got a decent deal?

Ive always wanted to ride a bmw bike, I bet its smoother than my supermotard :)
Im sure those shocks really transform the bike

Yeah, I think sticker was somewhere around 17k if I looked it up correctly... The shocks make an unbelievable difference, at least compared to my old bike. Although that one also had 80,000 miles, so they were probably worn out.

JK, but I was seriously worried about posting this after seeing that thread. Then I realized I'm not a complete douche, and I actually contribute to the community, and my worries went away.

The seat is mad comfy, and I love the M accent on it.
