Thanks guys. I'm glad to be in 'the service'. Heck, if not for it I wouldn't be where I am today. Literally.

You still gonna be in the PNW when you get back? If so, perhaps a Hennarot Coupe / E30 M3 meet-n-shoot is in order.

Yeah, I've been lusting after it (and a few others) since I left this last summer. I've just been hoping that I'd have the coin saved up before all the local ones disappeared. Turns out that when you have nowhere to spend your money, it is easier to save it.

That's great, you definitely deserve it after what you have done with your current E30.

The RX-II's are nice but don't do anything for me on an E30, they are just too modern. Replacments are already in the works. They will be different, but period-correct. That's all I'm gonna say for now.

It is actually Brillantrot, Hellrot was a typo in the listing. Regarding the angle of the price, yes it is maybe a bit on the steep side for your average E30 M3 but I think it was still a good deal. I was able to talk down the price, if only a little, but there are plenty of good reasons that make it a buy.
I had my dad, a 30+ year BMW mechanic and former Classic Car Judge, inspect the car. He is probably the most anal car inspector I know. The deficiency report he gave me was, well, short. In his words the car is "near perfect." Combine that with every document/receipt going back to 1990, "perfect" paint, both the original and the BBS wheels, and a strong, clean, and well mantained S14, and I don't think the price is outside the sphere of reason. The fact that I really don't need to to anything to it to make it stunning is what ultimately sold me.

Congrats man. Nice find. I had to get some paper towels to wipe the drool off my keyboard when I saw that pic.

I'm in the same boat as you, except I'm in Iraq. My e30 is sitting unfinished in my driveway with a cover on it (e46 is in the garage). I can't wait to get back to finish her.

Nice buy, don't go too crazy when you get back!

My Iraq money bought me an e46 touring and my e30 318is. Thanks, taxpayers!
