cleaned up the car phone since it had crud & polished up the screen to a mirror finish.

Still trying to figure how to permanently affix the mount to the console, but it slips right into the opening (where I normally put coins). Might double stick tape it there so its not so permanent.

I wonder if I can tap into the cigarette lighter or rear ashtray light to get this to light up at least

Lmaoooo i think i got your headunit Business card in my care packet. Weird the second i bought the car phone above, i spoke to a dude rocking a similar bmw vintage bike like that. He mentioned he couldn’t diagnose a parasitic drain in the wiring of his car after pulling some aftermarket stuff the prior owner left hence why he took the bike. That was the only bike i remember seeing at the show. And thanks for the compliment, i think lol

picked up a vintage car phone @ Vintage in Asheville, I plan on installing (for show) into my center console. Included was the mount, and original BMW booklet w/ case from the 80s

Lmao nah it’s not oem. Some guy in Bulgaria sold them on eBay. The guy makes a bunch of other ones like alpina and hartge. I’m sure he could prob make them. He makes door handles too like kadunza used to
