It's already gone. He wanted me to have it and the only way to bring it, was to attach it to the car. Thanks mark.

If you drive your e30 on stairs, you're gonna have a bad time.

They might look kinda gay, but I definitely wouldn't hesitate to trade my car for one.

Yes the rear trailing arms and such are from the e30. An M roady would be nice, but the m54 3.0 is a great motor. And with dual VANOS, it's a perfect match. 225hp, and 214tq I think?

I thought so. I was unsure if they changed that or not. I'd say the z3s are just modern day e30s? we basically just take all the parts from them anyways. I think everyone just hates modern bmws...I don't really see how the z3 looks gay either? besides...james bond drove one in one of the 9 million movies...

                Eric,

Hey man congrats on the purchase! I remember seeing your post on the Z3 section of bimmerforums. I found my way here because I picked up an E30 for DD. Let the haters hate, they don't know any better. They have just been brainwashed by the American falsehood that roadsters are chick cars. The Z3 is a fine modern example of a long line of classic roadsters. Nobody calls a Jag E type or Shelby Cobra a chick car. Granted, a non-M Z3 is more like a Triumph TR6, but that is manly roadster too. Good on you for following you own path!

The Z3 has a lot of E30 soul in a more refined package. It has a feel and connection that BMW had long engineered out of most other models of it's era. A Strong Strut and Ireland Engineering sub frame bushings will tidy up the roadster slop. I would start with those. Too bad, I just sold an early strong strut for cheap because it wouldn't fit over the S54.
