It's a different driving experience. You literally shift, point, and the car moves effortlessly without having to rev etc. It's updated but still older.

I was behind a white e36 yesterday and the kid launched hard, and holy shit that thing was WAY faster than I expected.

[QUOTE=M-technik-3;2263835]I have one of those dreaded things too. Yours appears nicer than my 328iS that thinks it's a M3 due to engine and suspension swap.
My e36 is not much of a looker. Runs better than it looks actually.

Yeah pretty fun car for the dollar value. Rear tire size is 245/40-17s.

Thanks. Many of them are ratted out, it is getting harder to find unmolested ones.
The only bastardized thing on this car are the Apexcone headlamps.

This car pulls HARD for a 3 liter and stock 3.15 diff.

I sorta want a 95 M3 now, with yellow Corbeau seats.

                      I love and hate e36 M3's.

Are you enjoying the superior handling of the e36?

A friend of mine has a '95 M3, and I have the eta e30 (chipped, slammed, 225s... handles great)
We swapped cars during lunch for some twisties.

It was hokay, I guess, but not as exciting to me. It was fun to just point and go, like you said.
My friend got out of my car with a grin on his face and a racing heart rate.
He loves how "raw" the car is. I have to agree. (driving slow car fast and all that...)
