      Define "Built" though?

Yeah- wrenching at it yourself is something I'm sure a lot of us would like to do, and a lot of R3Vers do. But like I said previously, some of us don't have the space, tools, or knowledge to do that.

If one puts in the time at work to earn the money for what they want, then who's to say they aren't worthy of a 24V E30 or any other type of sick car?

Not trying to argue, I just think it's lame to try and criticize someone for not building something themselves if they don't have the means to.

I havent had any time to put towards towards the car yet. I have lots of plans for this car. Ill most likely make a build thread once I get started.

Once you've done a swap, buying an already built car seems more and more like a better idea. Its a fuckin chore to do a motor swap, especially when you dont have Blunt style funds and a parts empire at your disposal.
4500 seems like a solid deal for a car like that. Even if the OP loves to get fucked in the butt with NJS parts.

              lol.

I had a hard time admitting this, but it's probably true for me as well.

I gotta say, I agree with danny on this one.

your soul, your heart, everything you put into the car is what makes it "special". Money is only a tiny part of the equation. ALL build threads go over budget, its part of what separates real enthusiasts from those who "like" cars. We know its illogical and that we will NEVER see the money back that we put into our cars but thats not the point...

Not saying that this particularly applies to the OP, just my thoughts on the matter.

Sweet platform from the looks of it :o!

I'm sure I don't have to tell you this, but pay no attention to the wanna be jiffy lube techs in this thread. Only a retard would pass up a good deal on a swapped car in good shape in the sake of claiming they "built it, not bought it". I don't see the guys who pay shops/other enthusiasts to do their mods getting ripped on. Nice car man, some wheels and personal touches and it will be awesome.
