Running reps is cool. But putting BBS stickers on rims that arn't BBS rims is being a poser. Not erryone can afford bbs rims and I don't think I'd ever buy a set unless I could actually afford them. I'll prolly end up running some type of cheap but good looking rim on my car, but I won't trick people into thinking it's something it's not.

Very very clean car. Not a fan of Volvo lip/ upside down flag/ 2mm exhaust clearance . But it's beautiful otherwise.

As I have said before... for Luke's specs I don't think this is true. Specs on your wheels? Pics? Condition?

16x8 et 23, decent condition. They're Style 5s off an e38. No pics yet as I'm still waiting on larger spacers for the fronts.

Do they look as nice as a set of 16x9s? Nah, but they look great to me and aren't knock offs. I was planning on running BBS caps on them until I realized they aren't made by BBS after all.



I think his car looks great, and I think ESMs are great looking wheels. I just can't support running BBS caps on replicas, and just because the real thing never came in that size/offset doesn't make it better.

Certainly it is an option that doesn't involve running replicas but you are technically doing the same thing. Why not buy Real BBS RS 16x8s? You are buying essentially a replica that looks and works like an RS but was made by BMW and came on a lot of cars so it is cheaper.

In the end your car will look great on those wheels so enjoy.

Well fuck me sideways, I guess mine are replicas too lol. Most Style 5's off of e38s are made by Fundo. I originally thought they were all BBS but have since realized that none (I guess very few technically) are.

Not really. Sort of I guess? Luke told me of his new wheels and what he was going to do. I said this sort of thing would happen(see this thread). So we went and took pictures and posted them.

Isn't this the same sort of thing as painting your wheels green. Posting it on the forums? It is going to piss off 1/2 the forum... but you did it anyways.

It's just a car. And some stickers. And some wheels that happen to look like some other wheels.
