That looks great. I wouldn't do weaves if I were you. Most people seem to end up with 16" wheels. 14" a bit to small. 15" is good. 18 is way too much. 17 is questionable.

But 16" is a good size. BTW - is that a respray?

Thanks a lot guys! I gotta say, I'm really excited to be a part of this forum. This is my first one. I've always lurked around bimmerforums,, r3v, and e30 tech for years and years without ever signing up, much less own a bmw and was very envious of the distinction and passion of the owners. I know my particular E30 isn't much but I love the purposefulness of the design and limitless possibilities of making a conservative looking car uniquely yours. I look forward to all the comments and criticisms and appreciate all the knowledge and ideas Ive gained and will continue to from these forums.

George - the car is all original, except for the front valance and mirrors that i had done. It came out great considering how hard red is to match.

Thanks for the pointers with the wheels. I agree, 17, 18 is way too big. Instead of being a part of the car, they end up becoming car, and its a shame because you usually see those are great looking cars.
I was thinking 15" 4lug(not sure if i wanna do a 5 lug conversion) weaves lowered with hr sports and fatter tires?
I'd appreciate anymore suggestions you or anyone else may have..

total newbie question.. I have a couple more pics I'd like to show but how do i get my pics to show up in my posts?
